Twin sphere rubber expansion joint

Twin sphere rubber expansion joint is similar to single-ball joint in structure, but has a second sphere to provide more pipeline motion absorption capacity, and even higher noise and vibration control efficiency. Twin sphere rubber expansion joint can withstand the most stringent pipe system configuration. They allow for axial compression or extension, lateral deflection and angular motion.

PERFORMANCE

  • Features:

    Suitable for suction and transportation (discharge).

  • Performance characteristics of double-sphere rubber-soft joint:

    1. When installing double spherical rubber joints, it is strictly prohibited to install them beyond the limit of displacement.
    2. Installation bolts should be symmetrical, gradually pressurized and tightened to prevent local leakage.
    For working pressure above 3.1.6 MPa, the installation bolt should have elastic cushion to prevent the bolt from loosening.
    4. When installed vertically, the two ends of the joint pipeline should be supported vertically, and anti-pull-out device can be adopted to prevent pull-out under pressure.
    5. Double sphere rubber joint installation should be far away from heat source. Ozone zone zone. Strong radiation exposure and use of media that do not meet the requirements of this product are strictly prohibited.
    6. It is strictly forbidden for sharp appliances to scratch surface and seal surface when double spherical rubber joint is transported, loaded and unloaded. Connection modes: generally there are threaded connection, flange connection and so on.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Flexible rubber expansion joints shall not exceed the displacement limit during installation.
  2. In the installation of bolts to be symmetrical, to gradually pressure and tighten, to prevent  partial  leakage.
  3. When the rubber expansion joint is laid flat, suspended, and vertically installed, the actual working axial displacement pressure of the rubber joint should be less than the supporting force of the pipeline, otherwise the anti-lifting device should be installed to prevent the work from being pulled.
  4. The installation location of the rubber joint should be kept away from the heat source and ozone area. It is strictly forbidden to irradiate with strong radiation, expose to the sun and use the medium that does not meet the requirements of this product.
  5. When the rubber connector is transported, loaded, unloaded or installed, it is strictly forbidden to sharpen the surface sealing surface.
  6. When installing DN200mm or above, please use butterfly valve special flange or small diameter flange for mating flange, so as to avoid flange pull-out, misalignment, sealing surface fracturing and water leakage after installation.
